Acronis Disk Director is a comprehensive disk management software for Windows users, developed by Acronis International GmbH. It offers a wide range of tools and features to help users manage their hard drives efficiently, including partitioning, resizing, merging, splitting, and formatting partitions. Whether you're a home user or an IT professional, it aims to provide a seamless experience for disk management tasks, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.

End of life

Introduced nearly two decades ago, it has served as a versatile tool catering to various user needs. Originally designed to manage disk partitions, especially in scenarios with multiple operating systems on a single hard disk, it played a crucial role in maintaining dual or multiboot systems before the era of virtualization.

However, with the advancement of technology, modern operating systems now come equipped with native tools for disk partition management. Consequently, the demand for this software has dwindled. In response to this shift, Acronis has opted to retire Acronis Disk Director and redirect its focus towards its flagship products: Acronis Cyber Protect for corporate clients, Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for managed service providers (MSPs), and Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office for individual users.

While the decision has been made to discontinue sales and support for this program, the existing users can rest assured that the product will continue to function as promised, even beyond the cessation of sales and support services.
