Filter Forge is a powerful graphic software allowing you to generate textures, enhance photos, and apply visual effects to your images.

It can be used as a standalone program or as a plugin under Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Affinity, and other host applications.



The Filter Library offers 6758 photo effects, all free to download. Apply an effect to any image or video, tweak its settings, browse through 30,000 randomized variations, save your favorite presets.

Cartoon and watercolor effects, frames, distortions, or glitches – it'll take just a few clicks to create an effect that would require hours in other software.

All textures in Filter Forge are procedural – you can render them in any resolution, up to 65000 x 65000 pixels!

Seamless Textures
Most filters in Filter Forge are designed to seamlessly tile, allowing images to repeat without visible borders. This feature works for textures and effects on both square and non-square images, and applies to all additional texture maps generated by the filter, including albedo, roughness, and normal maps.

Video and Animation Player - Filter Forge has long supported the creation of procedural animations and video effects. Now, results can be previewed directly inside the application without the need for third-party software.

Power Component - Filter Forge 15 introduces a new Power component in the Curves category. Through parameter mapping, filter authors can now generate parabolas with adjustable power values.
