Every WeVideo account, including free ones, offers a variety of creative tools such as Picture-in-Picture and the ability to use your own music, all at no cost. Upgrading to a premium plan provides more publishing time, increased cloud storage, support for higher resolution videos, and access to features like green screen, slow motion, broadcast-quality motion titles, screen recording, and a larger library of license-free music.

Can I create videos in HD or 4K?
Yes! All WeVideo users can edit videos in up to 4K resolution. You can import almost any type of footage and mix it with over 600 supported audio, video, and graphic formats. Unlimited subscribers can publish videos in 1080p and 4K Ultra HD at no extra cost. Flex or Power account users can buy 1080p and 4K publishing upgrades as needed.

What is publish time?
Publish time is the duration of your final videos. After editing, you "publish" your video, combining all elements into an MP4 file to share. Each plan has a set amount of publish time per month, shown in the plan comparison chart. For instance, with 1 hour of publish time per month, you could create 20 three-minute videos, 12 five-minute videos, or any combination totaling your available publish time. This time doesn't limit your editing or the length of your media assets.

What is cloud storage? Can I free up storage space? How do I get more storage?
Cloud storage holds your uploaded media files (videos, audio, photos, etc.) and published videos. You can monitor your storage on the My Account page. Free up space by deleting old published videos and media assets. Additional storage is available through account upgrades.
