Hi-Fi RUSH is an action game brought to you by Tango Gameworks, the studio behind popular games such as The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo. The game follows the story of Chai, a wannabe rockstar who finds himself at the center of an evil robotics enhancement megacorp. After a corporate experiment mistakenly fuses a music player to his heart, Chai is labeled as ‘defective’ and must fight for his freedom in a world where everything is synced to the music.

In the game, players take on armies of corporate drones in rhythm-amplified combat. The combat is satisfying and flashy, allowing players to perform Beat Hits, special abilities, and even combination attacks with their allies. Players can also amp up their skills by tapping into the beat and earning S-rank scores.

As players lead a squad of colorful teammates, they will face off against bosses from various departments, including Production, Marketing, and Finance, in over-the-top battle sequences accompanied by their own music tracks.

The soundtrack in Hi-Fi RUSH game features a mix of original music and popular songs by artists such as Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy, The Joy Formidable, and more. For players who enjoy streaming their gameplay, the game includes a streamer-friendly alternate audio mode that replaces licensed songs with original tracks made specifically for Hi-Fi RUSH.
