What's new in this version:

General:
- New client/service architecture increases data availability and software stability. The service automatically starts with the system and receives data and events even when the client is not running. The service automatically recovers from exceptions.
- The desired modules can be selected when installing and modifying the software, which allows elimination of unneeded modules.
- A non-administrator Windows user can run the software without privilege elevation, during which SADP will not be available and the Stream Media Server certificate cannot be exported or imported.
- Provides two GUI skins for the customer’s preference: Dark-Series and Bright-Series.
- Supports new software version detection. After enabling this function, the client can automatically detect new software versions and prompt the user to upgrade.
- Supports the setting of an auto-upgrade rule for device firmware. If Auto-Upgrade Device is enabled, an upgrade prompt appears when a new version is detected.
- Supports automatic backup of configuration files to a selectable path. The files can be imported in another client for restoration or duplication of configuration.
- Provides convenient upgrade modes for device firmware. Upgrade mode varies according to different device types. Provides auto-upgrade and upgrade prompts, and multiple devices can be selected for upgrade in batch.
- Supports enabling transmission encryption using TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocol for security purposes when adding devices. You can require certificate verification or not when enabling transmission encryption using TLS protocol.
- The user can reset their forgotten client password after correctly answering the security questions.
- Supports 33 languages after installing the multi-language package. Languages include: Arabic, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Simplified Chinese, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
- Improved the user interface: Questionable actions are confirmed after providing more information to the user. For example, a window will pop up to confirm deletion of Cloud P2P devices from the Cloud P2P account, which is different than modifying camera groups in the client. Grouped similar modules into one. For example, all types of data retrieval are now combined in one Data Retrieval module, and all types of reporting are combined in one Report module.  The program window can be resized by dragging the edges and corners. Double-click the title bar to maximize and restore size. Dragging the program to the top edge of the screen is another way to maximize the window size to full screen. Preset program window size options were deleted. Optimized Performance: The client startup speed has been improved by 60%. Performance of receiving alarm has been improved. The client can receive events that do not contain pictures at a rate of 100 per second, and receive events with pictures at a rate of 20 per second.
- During synchronization of authentication records with third-party databases, if the client disconnects from the third-party database, the client will try to reconnect to it every 30 minutes. After reconnection, the client will synchronize the data recorded during the disconnected time period to the third-party database.
- The video wizard was deleted

- Camera name can be edited directly in the resource tree of the Main View module.
- Configuration cog icon at bottom-right corner allows for quick video related system configuration from the Main View and Remote Playback modules.
- Supports multiple video streaming protocols for live view and playback separately including Adaptive UDP for better live view and playback performance when the network bandwidth is low.
- When playing back or downloading video on the client from a NVR added to the client using a device user name other than admin and double verification is enabled on the NVR, the user name and double verification password must be entered.
- Downloading of clipped video files is supported.
- Two fisheye expansion modes have been added: half sphere and AR half sphere.
- Multiple fisheye channels can be expanded in separate viewing windows concurrently.
- Live view and playback interfaces for fisheye cameras have been optimized, and operations made easier. Compared with the former versions, you can start fisheye expansion quicker. The live view and playback fisheye expansion windows are embedded in the normal viewing windows.
- The custom window division function in Main View and Remote Playback now supports setting the number of rows and columns to different values to suit various monitor sizes such as ultra-wide.
- Specific window division options can be dragged to the toolbar in Main View, which makes it quicker to switch between commonly used window divisions.
- After starting any type of playback of selected video and then switching away to and back from another playback type (camera/event/ATM/POS playback), the previously selected video will not be lost.
- When playing back video from a camera, the playback operations of other cameras will not be affected.
- Supports single frame playback and quickly switching between forward playback and reverse playback.
- Playback of multiple channels is synchronous by default and it can be changed to asynchronous.
- Fixed: playback would halt after transcoding has been resolved.
