What's new in this version:

- Support for CLAP plugins
- CLAP is an innovative and future-proof plugin standard
- This is a first support level for CLAP plugins, equivalent to VST2 plugin support
- More advanced CLAP plugin support (polyphonic modulation, thread pooling, ...) is planned for future updates
- Improved VST2 plugin support
- Project browser now supports custom buttons to quickly recall browser presets with a single click
- Project browser: For Synth and Effect Plugins you can now define a plugin category in the Where field so to make the list more specific. For example, you can now make a quick browser button to show all "EQ Plugins"
- Important improvements and fixes

Other Improvements:
- When loading plugin data and the plugin causes an error, MuLab now tries to continue to load the rest of the project / preset, instead of aborting the load
- Enhanced protection against plugins that crash during processing
- Upon such crash the plugin is automatically switched off and its process LED turns red
- Not all types of crashes can be handled this way, but certainly many
- This also protects the whole project from crashing, which obviously is an important improvement
- Switching the power on/off for a VST2 plugin now also sends All Sounds Off + All Notes Off messages to that VST2 plugin so to cut all (hanging) notes
- Drag-dropping modules or plugins on the composer now also works when dropping them on the clip area
- This will create a new track, like you've dropped it on the + track button
- MuLab Plugin now uses a better way to instantiate itself, which is faster and more solid in case the host uses a non 44100 Hz samplerate
- CPU meter: In case of errors like a process error or overload, now this is indicated in a better visual way
- Project: MIDI Input Targets dialog: Now only the relevant target modules are shown, i.e. the ones that have an event input jack
- Event List Editor now shows the clip's name in the window title bar
- The Latency Generator and Patch Point modules have been moved to the new "Utility" group
- Dropping a parameter on an empty sub-track header now also auto creates an empty automation clip for that parameter. (alike dropping a parameter on the [+] track button)
- Refined the "Setup Rack Sidechain" tool in various aspects.
- Option to insert a "Send To ..." send into a rack slot, which can then be connected to a sidechain input using "Setup Rack Sidechain"
- While editing sequences, playing notes are not cut off anymore if not necessary
- MUX Front Panels: Plugin slots now have the option to omit the 3 right-side buttons List - Edit - Options
- This makes the plug slot more compact. All functionality still is available
- MUX Front Panels: Text labels now have the option to be editable, also in play mode
- MUX Front Panels: Compressor: "Use RMS Window" can now be put on a front panel using the "Property On/Off Button" utility component
- Event Monitor window now is resizable
- Refined behavior in case the User folder is not found/writable
- Removed some redundant tooltips
- Removed the caret character from the list of invalid file name characters
- And other improvements

Fixed:
- Browser -> Plugins -> Options -> Add Plugins: After adding plugins the browser was not updated.
- Windows version: Fixed a bug that could cause a false drag action in a window after closing a popup window
- Internal screen recorder: Difference in frame rate issue
- MuLab App for Mac: When a modal dialog was open, it was still possible to "Quit MuLab" via the Mac menu bar
- Fixed 2 potential crash bugs in the modulation system when using plugins which need latency compensation
- Fixed a nasty bug in the Modular Feedback Delay that could cause audio static or even a crash
- Typically this occurred upon plugin in MuLab Plugin Synth in a host DAW using a 48 kHz samplerate or higher, or upon increasing the samplerate in MuLab App or the host DAW
- Specific shortcuts to the "Module" context functions did not work
- Important CPU stack usage optimization. This results in increased stability and possibly in a tiny little bit more snappy GUI, especially on slower computers
- Front panel mixer strips now are also resizable horizontally
- Upon opening a module connection property panel, the mute button didn't reflect the actual mute state
