Proxifier allows network applications that do not support working through proxy servers to operate through a SOCKS or HTTPS proxy and chains.

Installation

• Installation pack in a single exe-file (4 MB approx.)
• Installation requires administrator rights. After the installation, it can be run by any user.
• Silent (unattended) mode supported.
• All app binaries are signed with an EV digital certificate issued by a trusted root CA.
• Portable Edition does not need installation and can be run from a removable media.
• Custom installation packs (MSI, ZIP, XCOPY deployment, etc.) can be provided on demand.
• Personal settings are preserved during the update.
• Auto check for updates on start.

Network

• It can process all outgoing TCP connections.
• Full IPv6 support.
• Tunnel IPv4 connections through IPv6 proxy and vice versa.

Proxy Servers

• SOCKS 4 and SOCKS 4A (hostname support) with User ID authentication.
• SOCKS 5 with Username/Password authentication.
• HTTPS with Basic, Kerberos, and NTLM authentication (explicit and transparent modes).

• Failover (redundancy list) allows assigning any number of backup proxies. Timeout is configurable.

FAQs

Do you offer proxy server accounts?
No, only provide and support the Proxifier software.

Do I need to change the configuration of my applications when using Proxifier?
No, it works transparently with your applications. However, if you've been using proxies before, you should disable any built-in proxy settings in your applications. They should be set to connect “directly” to the internet without going through proxies.

Are there any limitations in the trial version?
The trial version has no feature limitations, but it will stop working 31 days after the first use. Each time it starts, it will display a notification window about the trial period.

Can Proxifier run in the background as a Windows Service?
Yes, it can run in the background as a Windows Service.

What is the difference between the Standard and Portable editions for Windows?
The primary difference is that the Portable Edition doesn’t require installation or administrative rights, but it has certain limitations compared to the Standard Edition.
