What's new in this version:

TRAKTOR 2.10.3 is a maintenance update, which mainly contains bug fixes but also some useful improvements:
- New: Rane MP2014 Mixer Scratch Certified The rotary 2-channel mixer 'MP2014' by Rane is now scratch certified and auto-configured. TRAKTOR automatically detects the mixer when connected to the computer via USB and automatically configures input and output channels for the use with TRAKTOR Scratch Timecode records.
- New: Warning on Unsupported OS Version The TRAKTOR installers failed to detect an unsupported OS version, which on some systems meant that the installation was unable to run. The installer will now show a warning message, which suggests cancelling the installation but allows the user to proceed at their own risk.
- New: Aux Inputs on Z2 and S5 Can Now Be Freely Assigned The new implementation now allows full user control over the formerly disabled AUX channel input routing and the AUX channel volume. This will allow advanced users to disable the AUX channel input routing manually, when they prefer to route their MIC or LINE inputs via DECK inputs instead.
- Fixed: Random Crashes during Runtime on Windows Users on Windows have been affected by random crashes of TRAKTOR during runtime. We tracked these crashes down to a variety of causes, which have all been fixed with this update.
- Fixed: Startup Crashes on Windows When Data CD/DVD in Drive Users on Windows have been affected by startup crashes related to having a data CD or DVD loaded into their drive.
- Fixed: Startup Crashes on OSX Related to iTunes Library Users on Mac OS reported startup crashes in relation to tracks removed from the iTunes library.
- Fixed: Importing a Specific Track Pack Corrupts the Collection This was observed with a specific track pack containing archaic ASCII control characters, that when imported resulted in a corrupted collection that was not usable after restarting TRAKTOR.
- Fixed: Truncated Title and Artist Tag When Analyzing WAV Files Users of WAV files on Windows observed that when analyzing the files, title and artist tags were truncated by removing the last character of these tags.
- Fixed: Sound, Waveform and Metronome Fall out of Sync TRAKTOR occasionally failed to properly load tracks resulting into a noncorrectable offset of audio and waveform. The issue also became apparent when listening to the beat-tick, which in this situation sounded offset to the grid of the track.
- Fixed: Individual Stems Fall Out of Sync When loading Stems or when seeking through Stems it occasionally happened that individual Stems would not be aligned correctly and fall out of sync visibly and audibly.
- Fixed: Waveform Missing or Blurry after Loading into Stopped Deck When loading tracks into deck using the load marker feature, the waveform sometimes failed to draw correctly. It was either blurry or in some cases even totally missing.
- Fixed: Audio Crackles when Beat jumping Since version 2.10.1 larger skips within a file, such as when using beat jumps were accompanied by a slight click, due to a caching issue.
- Fixed: Remix Cells Overwritten Despite Disabled Auto-Save Despite turning off the Auto-Save option for edited Remix Sets under certain circumstances, individual cells of Remix Sets were permanently overwritten.
- Fixed: Pitch Bend Locked When Nudging on X1MK2 When using the X1MK2 in conjunction with Timecode (DVS), nudging the phase on X1's touch strip did not correctly reset itself. Under these circumstances a small amount of pitch bend would remain active and the track would drift out of sync over time.
- Fixed: Inability to Delete Selected Text Entries It was not possible to delete a text entry that had been selected via Cmd +A / Ctrl+A in the search field and when inline editing fields in the table.

Important Notes and Known Issues:
- Audio Files When opening a sound file in TRAKTOR, which contains more than one ID3 comment created by different applications, only the first one will be shown. After analyzing the track or editing ID3 tags in TRAKTOR, all comments except the first one will be lost.

Collection:
- In order to prevent changes of Beat Grids and BPM, the context menu option 'Enable BPM Lock' should be applied.
- In case non-locked user grids have already been lost after analyzing, it is possible to recover the grid information by re-importing an older version of the collection.
- Mac OS X: Using the character '/' or any character between ASCII 0x00 to 0x1F in filenames or folder names causes the missing track message or empty folders in the browser.
- For enabling TRAKTOR to playback non-DRM AAC or M4A files, iTunes or QuickTime needs to be installed.
- Metadata sync with TRAKTOR DJ has been disabled in version 2.6.7 until further notice.
- GUI When moving the TRAKTOR GUI to a secondary screen, the CPU load increases significantly.
- Loop Recorder Inaccurate phase sync of loop recorder causes flanging in some cases.

Preferences:
- When adding a MIDI controller, all MIDI output ports are activated by default. It is recommended to reconfigure the output port in the Controller Manager preferences for the corresponding device. • Preference option 'Global Settings/Miscellaneous/Fullscreen Resolution' has no effect.

Remix decks:
- Cruise Mode does not support Remix decks . Using Keylock for Remix decks may cause CPU spikes on low-spec computers. Switching to ECO mode is recommended in those cases.
- Mac OS X comes with 256 as the default limit for the number of files open by a single process. When using 4 Remix decks and loading all cells in each Remix deck it is not possible to load samples anymore when this limit is reached. In order to increase the maximum number of open files add 'ulimit -n 512' to your ~/.profile or equivalent.
- Stem Files Must Be Analyzed before Loading and playback Due to the large amount of data that must be read from a Stem file, it is currently necessary that Stem files be analyzed before loading into a Stem Deck. It is not possible to load and play a Stem File before analysis is finished.
- CPU Spike When Enabling Keylock on Stem deck When enabling Keylock on a Stem Deck, you might experience a brief CPU spike. This spike is only temporary and CPU load will return to normal after Keylock has been activated. If you experience this problem, it is recommended that you enable Keylock before you perform.

Windows Users Must Run the 32-Bit Version of TRAKTOR to Be Compatible with 32-bit Audio Drivers TRAKTOR is now a 64-bit application for OS X and Windows. However, if you are a Windows user who is trying to use older 32-bit audio drivers with TRAKTOR (for example, audio drivers for Pioneer DJ products), you will need to run the 32-bit version of TRAKTOR in order to be compatible with these older drivers by following these steps:
- Rename the 'TRAKTOR.exe' found in the TRAKTOR 2 folder to 'TRAKTOR 64.exe'. This will be your backup 64-bit application.
- Go to the x86 folder and move the 32-bit 'TRAKTOR.exe' file to the TRAKTOR 2 folder. Now your TRAKTOR 2 folder should contain both files 'TRAKTOR 64.exe' (64-bit) and 'TRAKTOR.exe' (32-bit). 3. Now you can launch 'TRAKTOR.exe' which will be the 32-bit version of TRAKTOR. You may also create a Desktop shortcut for quick access.
- This problem does not pertain to OS X as the operating system only supports 64-bit drivers and applications.
- ALAC Support Only for Windows 10 and Mac OS X Microsoft Windows 10 natively supports Apple Lossless Codec (ALAC) playback, thus restoring this functionality to Windows users. If you previously used ALAC files before QuickTime was deprecated, you can resume using ALAC files by upgrading Windows to version 10. All supported Mac OS X versions already contain an Apple lossless codec, which allows TRAKTOR to play ALAC files.
- Playback of M4A (AAC) Files Limited to 48kHz on Windows The Microsoft Media Foundation supports playback of M4A (AAC) files, but only up to a maximum sample rate of 48kHz. Attempting to load AAC files with a sample rate higher than this (like 88.2kHz or 96kHz) will result in a file loading error.
- Windows Upscaling In order for the TRAKTOR interface to display correctly on a Windows system, you must use the 'Aero' setting in the display preferences. Disabling Aero will prevent the upscaling from working.
- Dell Backup and Recovery Software Will Cause TRAKTOR to Crash We have discovered that Dell Backup and Recovery software, often preinstalled on Dell and Alienware computers, causes a conflict with TRAKTOR and other applications resulting in an 'ntdll.dll' crash. If you experience this crash when trying to launch TRAKTOR, please uninstall the Dell Backup and Recovery software.
- iTunes View Sort Order Not Published in iTunes library.xml Due to a change in iTunes 12, the selected sort view for playlists is no longer written into the iTunes library.xml, therefore TRAKTOR can no longer reflect the selected sort order from iTunes when viewing the playlists in the iTunes node of the browser. If you want to view the iTunes
- playlist order in TRAKTOR, please right-click on the playlist in iTunes and choose 'Copy to play order' from the pop-up menu.
- Crackling during Playback of WMA files on Windows We have diagnosed the issue that is causing the WMA playback problem on Windows, but we still need to implement a workaround for the problem, which will take more time. Therefore, WMA playback issues still exist in this release version.
