WARDOGS for PC is a large-scale tactical first-person shooter developed by BULKHEAD and published by Team17.

It places up to 100 players on a destructible battlefield inspired by the industrial mountain regions of Eastern Europe.

Three competing teams fight to capture a randomly positioned Control Zone within a much larger map.

The main mode resembles King of the Hill. A team earns points by maintaining the largest presence inside the objective, and the first side to reach 100 points wins.

Because the zone location changes and players can approach it from multiple directions, battles remain unpredictable.

Every player begins with $10,000 in persistent in-game cash. Before each deployment, this money can be spent on weapons, equipment, vehicles and custom loadouts.

Players earn additional cash by capturing objectives, reviving allies, transporting soldiers, delivering supplies and completing other useful actions.

Unlike a conventional military shooter, WARDOGS combines infantry combat with vehicles, logistics, construction and environmental destruction.

Players can build forward operating bases, reinforce important positions or destroy buildings that provide enemy cover.

Features

100-Player Warfare: Three teams compete across a large battlefield.

Dynamic Control Zones: Randomized objectives make every match less predictable.

Persistent Economy: Earn and retain in-game cash between matches.

Custom Loadouts: Purchase weapons, utilities and equipment for each deployment.

Combined Arms Combat: Fight as infantry or operate armored and transport vehicles.

Destructible Environments: Damage buildings and remove enemy defensive positions.

Base Construction: Establish and reinforce strategically useful locations.

Rewarded Teamwork: Earn money through revives, transport, logistics and objectives.

Proximity Voice Chat: Communicate with nearby allies and opposing players.

Flexible Roles: Participate as a medic, driver, sniper, builder or frontline soldier.

The FileHorse gaming team recommends WARDOGS to experienced FPS players who value teamwork, tactical freedom and large, player-driven battles.

User Interface

The interface prioritizes essential battlefield information, including ammunition, health, squad status, available cash and the current Control Zone.

The deployment screen provides access to loadout purchasing and spawn selection.

The tactical map is particularly important because it displays objectives, friendly positions and useful deployment points.

New players may initially find the economy, map markers and vehicle systems overwhelming, but the presentation becomes clearer after several matches.

Installation and Setup

Purchase WARDOGS through Steam and install it using the desktop client. Approximately 50 GB of free storage is required.

Easy Anti-Cheat is installed and configured automatically, while a broadband internet connection is mandatory.

After launching the game, review the graphics, audio, microphone, key bindings and sensitivity settings.

Players should complete the firing-range practice before entering a live server.

How to Play

Step 1: Join a server and select one of the three teams.

Step 2: Choose a squad or coordinate with available teammates.

Step 3: Purchase an affordable loadout without exhausting your cash.

Step 7: Capture and defend the zone while supporting nearby allies.

Step 8: Earn cash through combat, logistics, revives and transportation.
