The software is an application, which users can either download from the MSI website or via MSI Dragon Center, which allows you to control RGB LED light effects of MSI & partner products.

MSI Mystic Light Sync is a feature of the software which allows you to easily control all the colors and effects of Mystic Light Sync compatible product.

Mystic Light Extension is a feature of the software which allows user to control colors and effects of partner’s product such as RGB LED Strips, RGB PC Fans or RGB PC Case via on-board JRGB / JRainbow / JCorsair pin header. The motherboard which has onboard RGB LED and the Extension pin header also is capable of showing multiple colors and effects.

Change the RGB LED strips lighting?
Go to Motherboard icon tab in Mystic Light desktop/laptop app and locate the matched pin-header option, then just simply adjust the light as you want.

Sync all the light from my computer in the tool
Simply click the top-right chain icon to switch all detected devices to sync mode (If the devices are properly selected, the chain icon below each device would be shown in red). Then choose the colors or effects as you want.

Control the intensity and the brightness of the lights in the app
If the component or peripheral supports light speed and brightness adjustment feature, go to component or peripheral icon and find the light speed or brightness bar below.

How to Use

• Download MSI Center software from official website or FileHorse. Install and reboot your system.
• Launch MSI Center. Click “Box icon” at the right top side to active the Feature Set.
• Click Features Sets Tab and find the “Mystic Light” item.
• Click Mystic light "Install" icon to set the Mystic light in place.

Detect

• Open Mystic Light in the "Installed" section to enter the utility.
• A list of auto-detected products will be displayed on the top of the control panel.

Customize

• Click the product icon on top to change RGB LED light for each product.
• Select any LED style, color, effect, light speed or the brightness you prefer, and click “Apply” button to save your preference.
• RGB PC Lighting Sync: Click the big chain icon in the upper left corner, you may sync RGB LED light effect to all product. The light effect is still adjustable as previous step.
• You can also change settings for single product. To do that, click the red chain icon under the product icon and turn the chain color to gray. The broken-chain icon indicates the product is not synchronized.

SDK for Developers

MSI Mystic Light SDK allows developers to get access to all of the LED control functions and RGB capabilities of MSI products such as Motherboard, Graphics Card, Keyboard, Mouse, Headset, etc. Start developing advanced lighting features with Mystic Light SDK.

What is an RGB motherboard?

How do I change the RGB LED strips lighting?
Open the software, navigate to the Motherboard tab, and select the appropriate pin-header option. From there, you can adjust the lighting to your preference.

How can I sync all the lights in my computer using Mystic Light?
Click the chain icon in the top-left corner of Mystic Light to enable sync mode for all detected devices (when selected, the chain icon beneath each device will turn red). Then, choose your desired colors or effects to apply across all synced devices.

How do I turn off Mystic Light?
To turn off this program, set all detected components and peripherals to sync mode and select the "OFF" light effect. This will disable the lighting across all connected devices.
