SARDU is a multiboot creator built for a multiboot USB drive, a DVD multiboot ISO, or a CD multiboot ISO for a Windows PC.

With the BIOS Legacy and EFI multiboot support, you can boot a PC or a Mac from a USB pen drive and perform maintenance, do a virus scan, recover and save data, install Windows from USB, try or install more Linux Live.

SARDU multiboot creator is a program for Windows and Linux, free (personal and non-commercial use, read the license). Hard disks (internal and external), SSD, USB flash drive, and all removable memory disks and media are supported.

The multi bootable device can include comprehensive collections of antivirus rescue CDs, utilities, and popular Linux live distributions. Windows PE can also be included, as well as recovery disks and install media for Windows XP (Professional, Home, and 64-bit), Windows Vista, Windows Seven, Windows Eight, Windows 10, and Windows 11. SARDU's multiboot menu is divided into five categories: Tools, Antivirus, Utility, Linux, and Windows.

All one has to do is download the desired ISOs with the integrated downloader and use the tool to add them to the multiboot menu. After the multiboot support is built can be tested with the QEMU integrated.

The program is simply the best solution to combine all of your bootable ISOs into one with a simple menu multiboot! That, in turn, can be burned to any device and make it bootable (providing that your BIOS supports it). Basically, this eliminates the need to carry around heaps of different bootable CDs.

It can also be used to build a USB multiboot for installing Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11, very handy for when there is no optical drive available, like tablets or netbooks.

How to Use
  • Extract the ZIP file to your preferred folder
  • Run the SARDU executable file
  • Register for free to unlock more features
  • Download ISO files using the built-in downloader or add them manually
  • Insert and detect your FAT32-formatted USB drive
  • Select which ISO files to include on the USB
  • Click "Create USB" to build your MultiBoot drive
  • Set your PC to boot from the USB in BIOS/UEFI
  • Choose your desired tool from the MultiBoot menu
FAQs

What is SARDU actually used for in practice?
SARDU is a multiboot USB creation tool that lets you combine multiple ISO files (Windows installers, Linux distros, antivirus rescue disks, utilities) into a single bootable USB drive. It’s especially useful for technicians who want one universal recovery/install toolkit.

How is SARDU different from tools like Rufus?
Unlike Rufus, which creates a bootable USB for one ISO at a time, SARDU allows you to build a multiboot environment with many tools on one drive. This makes it more complex but far more powerful for troubleshooting and system maintenance.

Does SARDU support antivirus and recovery tools?
Yes. One of its strengths is integration with various rescue environments, including antivirus boot disks and recovery utilities, allowing offline virus scanning and system repair from a single USB.

Is SARDU still relevant in 2026?
Yes, but for a specific audience. In 2026, it remains relevant for IT professionals and advanced users, while casual users often prefer simpler tools unless they need a full multiboot toolkit.
