AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional Edition is a premium hard drive utility that can help users of all knowledge levels to take full control over their local storage, including spinning hard drives, solid-state drives, and external flash disks. The app can not only perform a wide array of services for basic management of drives and their partitions (create, split, merge, move, resize, copy, rename, and more) but also optimize their overall performance and increase their speed. The app is especially useful for users who are setting up their local storage for the first time or troubleshooting an issue with older drives that are either experiencing an operational slowdown.

AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro is distributed online as a lightweight application with a full installer/uninstaller that will help users quickly deploy it on their desktop and laptop PC with just a few on-screen instructions. Once installed, the app will perform an automatic scan that will detect all connected storage drives, which includes even drives and partitions that are still not initialized and fully visible by the Windows OS.

The user interface of the app is built from the ground up to provide all users fast access to all of its tools, with main icon tabs on the top of the app (colored in blue), two side listings on the far left - one for one-click Wizard tools (the app features twelve, covering all most commonly used scenarios that even include secure erasure of data and NTFS/FAT32 converter), and another for all the basic tools such as Disk Clone, Quick Partition, Wipe Hard Drive, Disk Surface Test, Rebuild MBR, Delete all Partitions, and few others. The rest of the app canvas is dedicated to the main operation listing.

Tools include not only management of entire drives, but also individual partitions. Users have full control over their drive and will always be informed if any operation will impact the integrity of their saved data. For some operations, user data will not even be affected (such as merging two partitions located on the same physical hard drive), but for many other situations, the app will clearly prompt that data will be permanently lost. Thankfully, the built-in backup tools can safely migrate the data to a safe location before the target drive can be managed.

The performance of the older drives that are clogged with data to the brim can be refreshed with the built-in tools and drives that are close to the end of their operational life can be checked with a comprehensive surface test. There is also a tool for complete secure erasure of data from SSD and SSD drives, which will return them to their factory setting and help users to again get peak storage performance.
