Expert security that's easy on your PC -- and on your wallet too. Avast Pro Antivirus combines world-trusted antivirus and anti-malware protection, with additional features for those who aren't afraid to get more technical.

Note: Avast Pro Antivirus is now Avast Premium Security. The complete online protection for all of your computers, phones, and tablets.

Run suspicious files in Sandbox so they don't infect the rest of your PC, avoid fake banking sites and pay your bills safely, without hackers getting access to your details. Avast Pro is streamlined for minimal impact on your computer's performance.

Avast Pro Antivirus
is a comprehensive antivirus software developed by Avast, a leading provider of security solutions. It offers advanced features and a strong defense system to safeguard your computer and personal data. With its user-friendly interface and powerful scanning capabilities, the app is designed to provide top-notch protection without compromising system performance.

Features and Highlights

Intelligent antivirus
Detects all kinds of nasty threats, from viruses to malware. Yes, even spyware, ransomware, and phishing attacks.

Smart Scan
The ultimate time-saver. Check your PC and network for all kinds of issues in just one easy click.

Home Network Security
Is your router set up properly? The software tells you. Otherwise, anyone can break into your network and anything connected to it (like your computer, phone, or printer).

Browser Cleanup
Get rid of mystery toolbars, add-ons, and extensions that were installed without you noticing – and without your permission.

Ever downloaded a file from a shady server and suspected it was the trouble? Test files in a sealed space first, and keep the rest of your PC safe.

Too many passwords, none of which are safe? It’s fairly common. Remember just one, and Passwords will take care of the rest.

Your router settings can be changed to connect you to a fake site. Why? So hackers can steal your banking details. SecureDNS keeps your online banking safe.

Pay and bank safely, without anyone seeing your details. SafeZone creates a protective space that hackers - and anyone else – can’t access.

In-product support
Having trouble with your Avast? You don’t have to search far and wide to get help. Just send us a message from your very own Pro Antivirus.

All your Avast-protected devices are in one handy place. Manage your licenses, locate your mobile devices, and stay super organized the easy way.

How to Use

Using Avast Pro Antivirus is straightforward. After installation, launch the software and navigate through the intuitive interface. The main dashboard provides an overview of your system's security status, with options to run various scans, customize settings, and access additional features. You can configure automated scans and schedule updates as per your preference. It also integrates seamlessly with your web browser, offering real-time protection during online activities.

User Interface

It presents a clean and user-friendly interface, similar to the free version. The background color is slate grey, adorned with subtle streaks of green. The interface features four tabs located on the side, allowing easy management of your protection settings. In terms of interface design, it is comparable to Bitdefender, which is renowned for its antivirus interface.

Among the four tabs, three of them are primarily utilized for navigation. When you click on any of these tabs, a menu will appear, displaying icons for various features presented as tiles. It's important to note that certain features, such as the ransomware shield, are not available in Avast Pro, and they are indicated by an orange lock next to the corresponding icon.

However, things can become a bit confusing from this point onward. Only select features will display the lock icon, while others won't. For instance, if you click on SecureLine VPN, you will be redirected to a checkout page where you can make a purchase for this specific feature.
