ChatGPT is a conversational language model developed by OpenAI. It is based on the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) architecture and is fine-tuned for chat-based applications. It uses a massive amount of conversational data to learn to generate human-like responses to a wide variety of questions and prompts. ChatGPT is an amazing AI Virtual Assistant for FREE!

It can be used for a variety of tasks such as customer service chatbots, virtual AI assistants, and language translation. It also can generate text with high quality and coherence and use as language generation model.

Is ChatGPT not working? or is there a problem with the server? No problem, at any moment you can use the OpenAI Playground AI which is mostly free with possible limits. Enjoy!

How to Use

There are several ways to use ChatGPT for Windows PC, depending on your specific use case and technical expertise. Here are a few general steps to get started:

  • Obtain an API key from OpenAI. This is required to access the model through the OpenAI API, which allows you to send prompts to the model and receive generated text in response.
  • Choose a programming language and framework to use for making API calls. You can use various languages like Python, Node.js, or Java.
  • Write code to send prompts to the API and receive the generated text. You can use the official OpenAI API client library for your chosen language, or send HTTP requests manually.
  • Use the generated text in your application. Some possibilities include displaying the text in a chat interface, using it as input to other processes, or training the model further on your own data.
  • If you have a large dataset and you want to fine-tune the service on your own data, you can use OpenAI's GPT-3 fine-tuning library called GPT-3 Sandbox, it can help you to fine-tune the model with your own data and use it in your application.

It is worth noting that using a pre-trained models like Chat GPT requires quite a bit of computational power, expertise and computational resource in your machine. As a result, it might be a better to use it via OpenAI API rather than trying to run on a personal machine.

ChatGPT is a powerful language model that can generate human-like text. It can be used for a wide range of applications such as content creation, language translation, and conversational AI. Which launched in November 2022, has quickly gained a reputation as an innovative way to interact with Artificial Intelligence. With millions of users worldwide, the application represents a glimpse into the future of human-AI interaction.

The application, which is separate from the main project, allows users to interact with the AI in the same way as on the website. To use it, you'll first need to log in with your existing account, or create one on the official website. After logging in, you'll be presented with an overview of the tool's capabilities and limitations on the homepage.

It is worth noting that the app is still in its early stages, and may occasionally generate incorrect information, produce biased content, or provide harmful instructions. Additionally, it is limited in its knowledge of events that occurred after 2021.

One of the major strengths of the app is its ability to generate high-quality, coherent text. It can continue a given text prompt and generate several paragraphs of text that are semantically consistent and grammatically correct.

However, It also has some limitations. As a language model, it struggles with tasks that require understanding the underlying meaning or context of text. It also has limited ability to handle rare or out-of-vocabulary words, and sarcasm. Additionally, it can show bias that was inherited from the data it was pre-trained on.

Overall, The webapp is a useful tool for generating text, but it should be used with caution. It's important to review the generated text and make sure it is accurate and appropriate before using it.

What`s new in GPT-4

ChatGPT 4
is OpenAI's most advanced language model yet, with improved accuracy, safety, and creativity. It has a broad general knowledge and enhanced problem-solving abilities, enabling it to tackle complex problems with greater precision. GPT-4 is also more creative and collaborative than ever before, able to generate and edit creative and technical writing tasks, as well as learn a user's writing style.

One of GPT-4's notable features is its ability to process images as inputs and generate captions, classifications, and analyses. It can handle over 25,000 words of text, making it suitable for long-form content creation, extended conversations, and document search and analysis.

ChatGPT 4 has undergone a rigorous safety and alignment process, resulting in a lower likelihood of generating disallowed content and a higher likelihood of producing factual responses. This has been achieved through the incorporation of more human feedback, including feedback submitted by ChatGPT users, and collaboration with over 50 experts in AI safety and security.

Despite its advancements, GPT-4 still has known limitations, such as social biases, hallucinations, and adversarial prompts. OpenAI aims to address these limitations and expand the avenues of input people have in shaping the model. Transparency, user education, and wider AI literacy are also encouraged to facilitate the adoption of these models.

GPT-4 was trained on Microsoft Azure AI supercomputers, and it is available on ChatGPT Plus and as an API for developers to build applications and services. OpenAI plans to continuously update and improve GPT-4 based on real-world use and feedback.

OpenAI Releases Paid ChatGPT Plus version

OpenAI has unveiled a paid version of its widely-used AI chatbot, ChatGPT, known as 'ChatGPT Professional'. It can be subscribed to at a cost of $20 per month. The improved, yet experimental version of ChatGPT is available during high-demand periods with no blackout windows, priority access to new features, faster response times, no throttling and increased API request limits.

The specific features and pricing of the ChatGPT Pro Plus plan can differ based on the user's needs and agreements made with OpenAI. It is not publicly available as it is by invite only, with a waitlist available on OpenAI's Discord server. Is the paid version of ChatGPT Pro Plus worth the $20/mo fee? Absolutely.

What are the ChatGPT Limitations?

  • Lack of commonsense reasoning: GPT models struggle with tasks that require understanding the underlying meaning or context of text.
  • Limited ability to handle rare or out-of-vocabulary words: GPT models are pre-trained on a large corpus of text and may not have seen some words during their training. This can lead to errors or inaccuracies when generating text for those words.
  • Limited ability to handle multiple languages: GPT models are trained on a specific language and may not perform well when generating text in other languages.
  • Limited ability to handle negative language and sarcasm: GPT models may not be able to understand nuances in text such as sarcasm or irony, which can lead to errors in generating text.
  • Limited ability to handle some structured data: GPT is designed to work with unstructured text, it may not work well with structured data, such as spreadsheet or tables.
  • Bias in the pre-training data: GPT models are trained on a large corpus of text, which can contain biases. These biases can be transferred to the generated text, which can lead to inaccuracies and harmful stereotypes.

Is ChatGPT Free?

It is a Free (for now). Access to the chatbot, like other GPT models, is provided through the OpenAI API, which is a paid service. OpenAI offers a free tier of usage, which allows for a limited number of API calls per month and a limited set of features. For heavier usage or access to additional features, you will need to sign up for a paid plan.

Additionally, OpenAI also provide GPT-3 Sandbox, which is a free tool for fine-tuning GPT-3 models on custom data, but it's still in Beta version.

It's worth noting that if you want to use the pre-trained model like Chat GPT for your own task, in addition to the cost for the API, you will need access to computational resources and a certain level of expertise in language processing and machine learning to fine-tune the model and use it effectively.

When is ChatGPT version 4 (GPT-4) coming out?

OpenAI hasn't announced any official release date for ChatGPT version 4. Generally, OpenAI's release plans for its models are not disclosed in advance and it's always subject to change. The development of the model version 4 is ongoing and its release date might be announced by OpenAI at a later time. But at the time of writing I don't have access to up-to-date information and release plans are subject to change based on OpenAI's priorities and R&D progress.
