Instead of controlling a skateboarder or traditional racing vehicle, players command a customizable train capable of drifting, jumping, grinding, wall-riding, and performing aerial tricks.
The Denshattack! adventure takes place across a colorful dystopian version of Japan, where the railway system is controlled by the powerful Miraidō corporation.
Players join a group of rebellious outsiders, challenge rival gangs, complete high-speed missions, and gradually reclaim the tracks.
Its gameplay combines arcade racing, score attacks, rhythm-like reactions, and extreme-sports trick systems.
Levels are generally short and carefully designed around rapid obstacles, cinematic events, collectibles, alternate paths, and optional challenges.

The game contains ten visually distinctive worlds and introduces advanced abilities such as gravity flipping, wind-current riding, wall movement, and temporary rainbow tracks.
Features
- Trick-Performing Trains: Execute flips, spins, jumps, grinds, wall rides, and stylish landings.
- High-Speed Drifting: Time drifts correctly to maintain momentum and gain valuable speed boosts.
- Ten Distinct Worlds: Travel through cities, countryside, oceans, volcanoes, industrial areas, and other imaginative environments.
- Score Attack Gameplay: Build combinations, collect points, and improve your final ranking.
- Customizable Trains: Unlock and personalize different gravity-defying train designs.
- Optional Dares: Complete additional objectives for medals and improved level results.
- Dynamic Set Pieces: Encounter giant machines, strange creatures, collapsing structures, rival gangs, and unexpected track changes.
- Multiple Difficulty Options: Adjust the experience for casual play or demanding score-chasing sessions.
- Collectibles and Secrets: Replay courses to discover missed items and hidden routes.
- Energetic Soundtrack: Fast electronic music supports the game’s colorful arcade presentation.
The interface uses bold typography, animated transitions, Japanese-inspired graphics, and bright visual effects.

Important information such as score, combo multiplier, speed, warnings, objectives, and upcoming turns appears around the action.
Menus are attractive and consistent with the game’s rebellious cel-shaded style.
However, levels can become visually crowded at higher speeds.
Warning symbols, effects, track elements, and environmental colors occasionally overlap, making hazards difficult to identify quickly.
