Instead of focusing on flicking skills found in the Angry Birds franchise (where Birds are trying to recover their lost eggs), the gameplay of this highly successful title is focused on helping pigs control wild contraptions that travel on land and air.

Special challenges can also be found in special Road Hogs levels (racing against the computer) and Cake Race levels (special item collection stages).
