Bad Piggies is a popular spinoff of the casual puzzle game Angry Birds, offering players of all proficiency levels a way to test their skill and problem-solving capabilities in an incredible package that features over 200 levels in which players must help clumsy Pigs to collect eggs of Angry Birds.

Instead of focusing on flicking skills found in the Angry Birds franchise (where Birds are trying to recover their lost eggs), the gameplay of this highly successful title is focused on helping pigs control wild contraptions that travel on land and air.

Originally offered as a paid game title in 2012, Bad Piggies switched to free to play category in 2014, becoming one of the most played and highly regarded puzzle titles on both iOS and Android. The game’s PC port was also praised by many for its simplicity, eye-catching visuals, engaging and challenging puzzles, and great optimization that helped this title to easily run even on legacy desktop and laptop PCs.

It features a large central campaign that was dramatically enhanced with six large episode packs (all offering 45 levels each), and two special packs featuring around 10 new stages each.

In every stage, players are tasked to assemble a working contraption that can ferry pigs across the terrain, using a wide variety of automated elements (such as engines), manual items (rockets, wings, umbrellas, balloons, etc.) that can provide power and gliding capability, and special powerups that are found in chests. The players must also think about the general stability of the vehicle, with wooden and metal elements breaking in certain conditions.

In addition to the central puzzle campaign, Bad Piggies also features an engaging sandbox where players can unleash their creativity and create spectacular contraptions and vehicles of all sizes in nine special levels. Special challenges can also be found in special Road Hogs levels (racing against the computer) and Cake Race levels (special item collection stages). The only gameplay mode that is accessible via premium purchase is "Field of Dreams" mode where all Sandbox limitations are removed.
