The most notable add-ons compared to its predecessor Microsoft Flight Simulator include the vastly upgraded DirectX 10 rendering engine, support for Windows Vista and newer OS versions, a vastly improved roster of flyable plans, improved realistic physics and vehicle handling, and much more.
