Toward the mid-1990s, Dreamcast was popular for a little while because it was one of the first gaming consoles which could connect to the internet. For the people who got to experience the games on Dreamcast, they loved them. Sadly, the manufacturer stopped making games for the system rather quickly because the system was discontinued.

Now, fans of the system can use a Dreamcast emulator called Redream Dreamcast Emulator to play their favorite Dreamcast games on their computers in HD.

Controller Configuration, BIOS and Flash Files Are Not a Problem

Immediately after you download the application onto your computer, you can activate it. There is no installation, configuration, or set up to deal with either. Just place the application in the same directory as your games. Once you run the application, it’ll detect those games automatically.

The program has some settings that can be adjusted, such as the video settings for changing the screen size and aspect ratio. If you use the Premium version of this application, the game resolution can be changed too. Meanwhile, the network settings can be chosen if you want to stream games with the proper amount of bandwidth for your particular game.

Compatible with Most of the Dreamcast games

Compatibility issues with different Dreamcast games are constantly being fixed. On the app developer’s website, you will find their updated compatibility list on the homepage. It’ll let you know if a particular Dreamcast game can work with this great emulator. About 80% of all Dreamcast games will run on the emulator from beginning to end without any issues.

Any major Dreamcast fan will definitely want to try out Redream and replay their favorite games from that console on their computer.

Note: You can get High-definition rendering in the Premium version.
